For every artist, every record is a journey. The time it takes to write the songs, then figure out how and who to record with, actually do the recording, then package, promote, release....all the steps it takes to get it out into the world to share....It’s a specific span or moment of time for us. Desert Dove is a rather significant one for me - this record feels the closest I’ve come to really sharing my innermost self and experiences. The good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly. It’s kind of terrifying. And exciting. I hope you listen and find yourself in some of these songs. I hope they provide comfort, joy, entertainment and catharsis.
