"Easier Than Leaving" Video Premier on Rolling Stone Country

Rolling Stone Country premiered a brand new live video of my song "Easier Than Leaving" with Kristin Weber and Erin Rae helping me out on vocals.

"Singer-songwriter Michaela Anne's 'Easier Than Leaving' describes infidelity and the pain of knowing too much, but the video serves as a lovely elegy to pre-growth spurt Nashville. Filmed in the heat of summer, the clip shows Anne singing under a willow tree in the yard where she used to live – before developers turned the place into a construction zone."

2016 Recap!

2016 has been an interesting year for sure. I've been so incredibly grateful for the reception of my new album Bright Lights and the Fame, for the touring I've been able to do, and for the people who have come out to support the shows and purchase merchandise. You are what keeps this going.

I've been so fortunate for all the amazing press I've received this year, and to top things off, Bright Lights and the Fame was just named among Rolling Stone's "15 Great Country and Americana Albums You Didn't Hear in 2016," mixed in with some of my favorite records of the year from artists including John Prine and Wynonna! Read the article here!
